My Etsy shop

 Hi everyone, well it’s been a long time since I have used my blog, I have now got my Etsy shop up and running well. Check it out.. ozkiscosycottage. I am going to be doing a ETSY workshop in a couple of weeks and learn how to share my listings on here and onto Instagram. I am now making all sorts of new things in my shop, fabric hair scrunchies are a hot seller especially the ones made with aboriginal fabrics. Check out my shop. I am just making some new product lines to add to my shop. I will be back with a new update soon. 

 Gosh it's been a long time since I have used my blog page. Lots of changes over the last few years and lots of new arts and crafts that I am now doing. I had moved back to New Zealand for brief period and then moved back to Australia, this photo is a view from Makarori beach hill top near Gisborne New Zealand.

well thought I better add an update as I am trying to keep this blog going more regular with what's new in my projects etc.... I receive this lovely fabric postcard from Barbara in Spain... it is the second group I am a part of and the theme is "SPRING" it is so lovely, I am just working on all my cards at the moment to send away this week.....I feel have to clean up my craft room today, it looks like a bomb has hit it.....a true crafter....pull everything out to make one project...LOL....will post more of the postcards as they arrive in the post......enjoy...

This is my first fabric postcard swap for the month of Jan 2014 and arrived today from the USA, is really pretty and pale pink with lovely free motion embroidery and quilting....am now making my new card for the swap this month.....thanks Tina :)

 

MY NEW ZEALAND TIKI WALL HANGING

Well am sort of getting this blog spot thing going but just gotta figure out how to get more members and followers....and how I can follow more blogs.....will get there.....will slowing share with you some of my work over the years and will also post them I my photo gallery....I have lots of unfinished objects (UFO's) as we say in the crafting world....way too hot to do any knitting or crochet....I have just not long ago finished my New Zealand Tiki wall hanging, just a small one in size but love it and added some other bits and bobs of my own to embellished it....I got it as a kitset at a show and was a bit annoyed that the bottom fabric was too short on fabric, so had to do a bit of improvising and lower the bottom raise the bottom design up a bit....I added the necklace to the Tiki to give him a bit more of a kiwiana look.....I finally got it onto a hanger the other day and it now proudly hanging on my wall unit...don't you hate it when you run out of all space LOL...Hope you enjoy this.
